Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Earlier this month, officials from Clearfield County made the decision to fire the prison's warden David Gallagher.
On Tuesday, 6 News attended the county’s first prison board meeting since the decision, where residents voiced their complaints about how the prison has been operating.
David Gallagher started working as the warden in October of last year. Since then, the Clearfield County jail has faced backlash from the community due to drug overdoses inside and even inmates escaping.
NEW YORK (AP) — Shohei Ohtani will receive just $20 million of his $700 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers over the next 10 years, with $680 million payable from 2034-43 in an unusual structure that gives the team greater payroll flexibility in coming seasons.
Ohtani's record-setting deal, agreed to Saturday, calls for annual salaries of $70 million, according to details obtained by The Associated Press. Of each year's salary, $68 million is deferred with no interest, payable in equal installments each July 1 from 2034-43.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa (WJAC) — Gumby's Pizza shop, located in downtown State College, was cited by a state health inspector on Friday for causing an "imminent health hazard" and using one of its food prep tables to give people tattoos, according to a report.
The health inspector said that the person in charge failed to stop the violations and notify the state health department. "The food prep table was used as a bed for tattooing, contamination from blood could have sprayed onto food contact surfaces, or the dough mixer,"
