(WJAC) — Authorities say a Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause of the blaze that damaged three homes in Clearfield County Wednesday night. More than 100 firefighters responded to the 2-alarm fire, which broke out along the 100 block of Wilson Ave. in DuBois around 6:30 p.m. Authorities say three firefighters were injured while battling the blaze, two of which were treated at Penn Highlands DuBois while the other was treated on scene.

Huntingdon man faces additional charges over alleged 'sexual relationship' with minor

Authorities say a 32-year-old Huntingdon man is facing additional charges related to an alleged “sexual relationship” with a 13-year-old girl. Mark Musser, of Ewing Road, was charged Tuesday after police allegedly found numerous videos and photos of the girl on his phone. According to a probable-cause affidavit, three of the videos showed the two having sex. According to the affidavit, the girl told police that shortly after Musser was released from prison on bail in a related case, the two connected on Snapchat and later began meeting in person.

3 injured in Jackson Township crash believed to be weather related

Altoona Area SD will continue virtual learning until teachers are vaccinated

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — Students in the Altoona Area School District will continue virtual learning for the foreseeable future, officials decided Thursday night. During Thursday night’s special meeting, the school board approved a plan to return students to hybrid learning two weeks after teachers receive their first rounds of COVID-19 vaccines. They said the ultimate goal is to get all students back to the classroom full time, but the next step would be a mixture of virtual and in-person learning.
