LANDOVER, Md. (WJLA) — The Washington Commanders' official mascot was unveiled during halftime of the team's New Year's Day game versus the Cleveland Browns. Fans were asked to give a warm welcome to "Major Tuddy." The mascot reveal comes after the original HOGS claimed last week owner Dan Snyder and the Commanders aretrying to profit off their legacy. Former Bedford school employee accused of having 'sexual relationship' with student

Bedford Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Bedford County have charged a Buffalo Mills man with multiple sex crimes after he was accused of having a "sexual relationship" with a female student. Troopers say Jarrod Clapper, 24, faces felony counts of sexual contact with a student in/near a school, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor, according to online court documents. Authorities say in January of this year, troopers were contacted by a school resource officer for the Bedford Area School District to report a possible sexual relationship between a female student and a member of the school's IT department.

Missing MA man found dead in Clearfield County

UPDATE:CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — According to Clearfield County coroner, Kim Shaffer-Snyder, missing 19-year-old Massachusetts man Timothy Krevchenko was found dead Sunday in Girard Township. She says an autopsy was performed Monday and the results are pending. ORIGINAL:Authorities in Clearfield County are searching for a 19-year-old man who has been reported missing in Massachusetts after crashing his car in Pennsylvania. Police say Timothy Kravchenko was reportedly involved in a minor vehicle crash over the weekend, near the intersection of Gillingham Road and Ridge Road in Girard Township.

Police investigate bulldozer crash in Bedford County

WOODBURY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — State police are looking for at least one suspect who they said crashed a bulldozer Monday. They said it happened in Woodbury Township near Hickory Bottom Road and Pulpit Road and the bulldozer belonged to Cottles Asphalt Maintenance. Someone who wasn’t allowed to use the equipment drove the bulldozer into an asphalt roller, causing substantial damage, according to police. They said the roller is valued at $20,000.

Suspect in custody after standoff in Cambria County

A tense situation in Cambria County happened Thursday morning, ending with a suspect in custody. Richland Township Police said they were alerted to a domestic situation. When they responded, police say they were told the man, who was alleged to be involved, took off, while armed with a handgun. Investigators said they tracked him to a home along Banyon Drive, but the suspect refused to meet or talk to officers.
