Penn State to hire Kansas coach as next OC

According to multiple reports, Penn State football has reportedly made a decision on who will be the team's next play caller. Reports indicate that the Nittany Lions are expected to hire Kansas Jayhawks associate head coach Andy Kotelnicki to replace former Offensive Coordinator Mike Yurcich. “We are excited to welcome Andy, his wife, Lindsey, son, Maximus, and daughter, Joy, to Penn State,” said head coach James Franklin. “Our search process for an offensive coordinator was extensive and throughout it, Andy’s name kept rising to the top of the list.

Tribune Democrat moving to 5-day publishing schedule

JOHNSTOWN -- On Wednesday evening, a Johnstown staple of over 100 years announced it was cutting back publishing to 5-days-a-week. The Tribune Democrat will now publish on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The local publication cited the virus crisis and the strain it has put on advertising dollars as the justification for a switch in which there is no paper produced on Tuesday and Sunday. The Tribune Democrat released a statement on its website saying, Discontinuing two print days will allow us to focus our resources on printing more local news on the other five days.

Victims of Wilkinsburg shooting identified

WILKINSBURG, Pa. -- Five people are confirmed dead and another three are injured after a shooting in a neighborhood outside of Pittsburgh just before 11 p.m. Wednesday. The incident happened on the 1300 block of Franklin Avenue in Wilkinsburg during some sort of party or cookout in the backyard. Three women and one man were killed and pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Three others were taken from the scene in ambulances and one of them died at the hospital.
