Man finds extremely rare pink grasshopper, first known sighting in PA

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A sight only a handful of people have gotten to see first hand and one Pennsylvania man can now put himself in that lucky few. Andy Mast of Jefferson County, PA spotted a rare pink grasshopper in his yard right before cutting his grass. Luckily, Mast says his 9-year-old daughter stopped him from mowing so that she could show him the amazing find. Mast says he snapped a photo and let the insect trot back into the wild.

State funding will help DelGrosso Foods expand operations, double pasta sauce production

TIPTON, Pa. (WJAC) — Gov. Tom Wolf announced Monday that DelGrosso Foods will receive $1.5 million to help expand manufacturing operations in Blair County.
