TYRONE/BLAIR COUNTY, Pa — Earlier today, the Deputy Secretary of Technology and Entrepreneurship for the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development paid a visit to a startup company in Tyrone, that is prospering through the DCED’s Benjamin Franklin Technology Development Authority.
Deputy Secretary Steve D’Ettorre says that having the Ben Franklin’s provide small-town startups with resources to grow has been hugely effective.

LONDON (TND) — King Charles III unveiled his first official portrait since his coronation last year and drew some mixed reactions online. The vivid image depicts him in the bright red uniform of the Welsh Guards - which he was made Regimental Colonel in 1975 - against a background of similar hues. MELBOURNE, Australia (TND) — Passengers on a Virgin Australia flight from Perth to Melbourne got quite the show when a naked man ran down the aisle mid-flight forcing the plane to turn around. Australian Federal Police told The Independent that the "disruptive passenger" on the domestic flight knocked down a flight attendant before being tackled by another passenger. A Virgin Australia spokesperson said that police met the aircraft on arrival in Perth and the guest was offloaded after the incident.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Johnstown's annual Polkafest had its final day, giving folks a little taste of Poland and other countries.
Of course, a band played some polka music, getting couples of all ages on the dance floor to boogie. And tons upon tons of food, like kielbasa and pierogis, were prepared there.
