Dr. Neeli Bendapudi talked about the past, Penn State's role as a land grant university, and its future.
She also shared a new online dashboard that will show student graduation rates by race, and other campus diversity related issues.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — According to the National Emergency Number Association, there are 240 million calls made out to 911 per year, but how many of those calls are accidental?
An official from the Cambria County 911 Center says they already received 7 accidental calls just before noon today and with current work shortages, it makes the job more challenging.
Tina Stimely, the 911 Shift Supervisor from the Cambria County 911 Center says accidental 911 calls happen every day.
ALTOONA, Pa (WJAC) — The Trade Secrets Skincare and Saltroom business in Altoona joins a long list of businesses making hand sanitizers in times of shortage.
Co-owner Stephanie Hite says their sanitizer meets the current CDC guidelines of 70% alcohol based, a potency which kills the coronavirus strain.
The sanitizers can be ordered on the company'sFacebook page.
Hite says they have a substantial number of orders from healthcare workers and companies who employ truck drivers.
