TYRONE, Pa (WJAC) — Hundreds of people gathered in Tyrone Saturday for the annual Irish Heritage Days parade.
The parade featured several floats, music and everyone dressed in green.
The weekend-long celebration also features dozens of vendors and Irish-themed activities.
Irish Heritage Days will conclude Sunday with Irish displays at the Tyrone Historical Society Museum and a spiritual service at 7 p.m.

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) -- M&T Bank donated $35,000 to 18 nonprofit organizations during its 10th annual charity luncheon. The company's vice president said the bank has helped support many of these programs for years.
“I think over the last 10 years, we’ve given over $200,000 to local food banks,” said Bob Bilger, vice president of M&T Bank. “M&T allows us to set aside (funds) and try to do what’s right for the communities that we’re in.
JOHNSTOWN — The Burke and Bailey families are connected.
Brandon Bailey is the head football coach at Richland. Greg Burke is the head basketball coach at Richland. The two have sons, who are student-athletes at Richland. Brandon's son Koby plays football and basketball. Greg's son Caleb plays football and basketball. And, they're good, too.
The Bailey and Burke father-son duos have led Richland to district championships on the football field and basketball court.
Pittsburgh (WJAC) — Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker TJ Watt was named the team's MVP of the season this week.
"He is what you would call a game-wrecker, where at any moment he can turn the tide in a game."
Watt has earned the Steelers' team MVP award four times in the past five seasons, matching former WR Antonio Brown as the only players to receive the honor four times.
"He is a very dominant force.
CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Police say a Glenside man is facing charges for sexually assaulting a Penn State student.
Joshua Robinson faces felony sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault without consent.
Penn State University police say they were called to the hospital in February to speak to the victim.
They say the victim explained that she met Robinson at an off-campus party and when they went back to his room, he violently assaulted her.
